Our archives are available to researchers who
visit the museum. In an effort to make our collections more accessible to
the public, we have published finding aids for our archival resources. We
are happy to mail photo copies for $0.10 a page, and a postal surcharge.
Beverly Wood Collection
This collection contains information on the heroes of Tennessee and an
Essay Contest about the heroes of Tennessee for the fifth grade.
This collection was donated by Helener Currier. It
contains information about her family's history, business documents, class
photos, and a commemorative glass.
This collection came from the Goldston Estate. It
contains funeral books of James Dumas and the Biographical Directory of
Tennessee's General Assembly 1746-1969, Henry County.
This collection contains information such as
legal documents, letters, funeral announcement books, photos, receipts,
and a paper bag that was previously owned by John H. Dunlap.
This collection belonged to Ferrel Foust, the husband of
Francis Foust. It contains of old war photos of Ferrel Foust and his
friends, and three booklets telling the highlights of the 89th division,
7th Armored division, and Battery C,489 AFA Bn in action.
This collection is based on old school notes,
photographs of the family and the school, the will of Benjamin Dumas,
genealogical records of the Bowden Family (Emily Ann Bowden who married
Franklin Monroe Goldston).
Happy Greer Delphian Club
This collection contains the Delphian Chapter Yearbooks, and the Happy
Greer Yearbooks. The constitution and by-laws, a picture, programs, and
directories. Also letters, business papers and other documents. The
earliest date known for the Happy Greer Delphian Club was 1924 and the
latest date we have of the club information was 1991.
Henry County Medical
The old residence of O.C. Barton used to house the Henry
County Health Department. This collection includes clippings from a
newspaper (HCH Dearly Days), book over viewing 1977 convention of Nation
and State Health.
This collection contains the Tennessee Conservationist
journals, TN. Henry PTA Yearbooks, 13th District Annual Program, Welfare
Record Journal, and etc.
This collection includes information about Charles Mansfield. He was the
school administrator for Inman, also serving as a captain and Battery A
commander. It contains information about his military status as well as
school notebooks, class pictures, WWII yearbook of the 536th Airborne Unit,
This collection contains medical records of Dr. Barton McSwain's patients
from the 1930s.
This collection represents different artifacts collected
by the community not pertaining to any one collection. It has receipts
from different businesses, Christmas ornaments, newspaper clippings, and
booklets on different information.
This collection contains the Minutes from
(1902-1977),scrapbooks, and gavels from the Paris Women's Club. It was
donated by Annie Warren Looney Mills, who was the self-appointed historian
of the Paris Women's Club.
This collection consists of old photos collected from
many different events. It includes photos of Lee School(1913), state
guard, unknown soldiers (civil war), etc.
This collection contains mainly of letters to William
Henry Howard from his daughter after her marriage to James Hicks of Paris,

was a teacher at the John R. Miller School for the Mentally Challenged. It
